How can I get a new ID card?

Planning to visit the doctor or fill a prescription at a new pharmacy soon? You’ll want to have your ID card handy. If you’ve misplaced or lost yours, you can print a temporary card or request a new one in Blue Access for MembersSM (BAM). Here’s a quick look at how:

Print a temporary ID card
If you need a card today for an appointment or pharmacy visit, you can print a temporary one from multiple areas within BAM.

  1. Log in to BAM. If you haven’t registered yet , you’ll need your group and ID numbers. You can find these on the welcome letter you received from us.
  2. Once you’ve logged in, click on "Get a Temporary ID Card” under Quick Links on the home page.

From there, click the "Print Temporary ID Card" button. Note: Your computer must be connected to a printer.

Request an ID card
You can also order an additional permanent ID card or a replacement for a lost card in BAM.

  1. Log in to BAM. If you haven’t registered ye t, you’ll need your group and ID numbers. You can find these on the welcome letter you received from us.
  2. Once you’ve logged in, click on "Get a Temporary ID Card” under Quick Links on the home page.
