How do I submit a claim for services received internationally?

When eligible medical services are rendered while you are traveling outside of the United States, you will need to submit your foreign medical claim to Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) Global Core for review.

Visit: www.bcbsglobalcore.com  .

  1. Read and accept terms,
  2. Enter your alpha pre-fix (displayed before your ID number on your ID card),
  3. Click: Go.
  4. At the next screen, choose the Claims Forms option.
  5. Click the appropriate link to download the International Claim Form you need. Instructions for submitting your claim(s) are listed on page two.

You can email the completed form and any attachments to: claims@bcbsglobalcore.com. Or, send the itemized bill(s)/receipt(s) and completed International Claim Form to:

Please include as many of the following items as possible:

  • The letterhead indicating the name and address of the person or organization providing the service(s)
  • The full name of the patient receiving the service(s)
  • The date(s) of each service(s)
  • A description of each service
  • The charge(s) for each service
