Do you need to update your personal information for your health plan? If your address or other information has changed, you should.
The way you originally enrolled in your health plan matters when it comes to updating your personal information.
If you enrolled through the Health Insurance Marketplace or directly with BCBSOK, you have an individual or family plan. To update your information:
- Go to Healthcare.gov or call 800-318-2596 if you purchased your Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan on the Marketplace.
- Go to bcbsok.com and sign in to your Blue Access for MembersSM account to send a private message. Or call the number on your BCBSOK member ID card if you purchased your plan directly through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.
If you receive your health plan through your employer, you have a group plan or group coverage. Group plans have their own process for updating personal information. To update your information:
- Contact your company’s human resource department.
In every case, you can only update your personal information through the original channel you used to enroll in your health insurance plan.
